About Pride Glasgow
Scotland’s largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex celebration, Pride Glasgow, will take place on August 19th & 20th returning to Glasgow Green.
The Pride Glasgow Arena is our outdoor main stage which in previous years have seen acts such as Texas, Union J, Heather Peace, Lucy Spraggan, The Cheeky Girls and many more perform.
The Community Expo is a crucial aspect of the festival as it allows for festival visitors to engage with and access services, find out about key organisations that support the LGBTI community across Scotland and gain vital knowledge of community groups and activities.
The Pride Market is a popular area of the festival offering a range of products for sale from t-shirts to rainbow accessories.
Stock up on your favourite accessories, buy a flag or a whistle or check out the official Pride Merchandise Stall.
Introduced in 2016 this area proved immediately popular and we have plans to build upon that popularity this year with more activities, facilities and fun for all the family. This area is non smoking and alcohol free and will feature children only toilets, baby changing faciliites and picnic style seating.
Every year the Youth Space provides to be a popular area for young people aged between 13 and 25. More details on this year’s youth space will be announced later in the year.
Do Pride in Style with our VIP area featuring luxury toilets, covered seating and a main stage view alongside its own catering units and bar with premium drink choices.
Our annual dog show returns on Sunday 20th August, further details about this year’s dog show will be available in the coming months.
Introduced in 2013 the Fairground has been a popular addition to the Festival and will return to the festival this year.
Our Food Village will host a range of food outlets and feature some of the best in Festival Food offerings.
With plans in place to extend the main bar with a much bigger area and additional features this year’s bar area will prove to be popular!
