Join Beatson Cancer Charity for Off the Beatson Track on Sunday 24th of August and turn the west end of Glasgow yellow.
The 10k walk is a family-friendly event that brings the community together to support people facing cancer. Whether you’re walking in memory of a loved one, for someone currently going through treatment, or simply to support an incredible cause, this is a day full of hope and joy.
The route takes walkers through the west end of Glasgow, starting and finishing at the Riverside Museum. It is flat, accessible and suitable for all ages – even the dog can join in!! You can expect live entertainment, music and a warm welcome from Team Beatson every step of the way.
You can also dress up – we have seen everything from tutus and wigs to full fancy dress! It’s your chance to have fun, raise awareness and most importantly, raise vital funds for Beatson Cancer Charity, helping us continue to support patients and families across the west of Scotland.
Every pound raised goes towards funding patient wellbeing services and vital research and equipment. Every step you take helps us be there for someone when they need it most.
Sign up today and be part of something truly special. Whether you're walking alone, with friends, or as part of a team, you'll be joining a community walking with purpose and compassion.
Maisie McCormick, community fundraising manager at Beatson Cancer Charity, said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating our 12th Off the Beatson Track event this year.
“We’re so grateful to everyone who has taken part over the years – some families have been with us since the beginning, so we hope everyone will get behind the celebrations this year and join us.
“Every single person who signs up is allowing us to support more cancer patients and their families over the years to come, and we cannot thank you enough for that.”
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
