The GVVT is pleased to open our home, Bridgeton Bus Garage, to the public on the first Sunday of April, May June, July & September 2024. Our Open Sunday events allow you to explore the Garage and see our 140 buses, coaches, fire engines and commercial vehicles, many of which are fully restored and operational, with other awaiting or under restoration. *We don’t have an August Open Sunday as our Family and Community event is on 28th July!
We are Open from 1100-1630 on the following Sundays:
Sun 7 April
Sun 5 May
Sun 2 June
Sun 7 July
Sun 1 September
Our Family and Community Day is on Sunday 28th July.
Our Annual Open Weekend is on the 12th & 13th October 2024.
You can pay on the door (cash and card accepted) for our Open Sunday events or purchase tickets in advance from our online shop.
Open Sunday Ticket prices: Adult £6, Concession £5, Child £4, Family £17, Carer £2.
Child tickets are for children aged 3-15. A family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Under 3’s are admitted free and don’t require a ticket!
Refreshments and toilets are be available.
The GVVT Wee Happy Shop will be open selling books, models and merchandise.
We hope to have a small number of visiting vehicles on display to compliment the vehicles in the GVVT collection.
A free shuttle service will operate every 30 minutes between the Garage and City Centre.
