Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival: Children’s Programme

About Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival: Children’s Programme

For the third year we have organised an action-packed children's programme with dozens of fun activities across the city all for FREE!

This will take place alongside Glasgow Doors Open Days 11th - 17th September 2017.

Highlights for this year include:

Govan Old Church: Have you ever fought in a Viking shield wall? Try a heavy chainmail shirt out for size and see how many star jumps you can do. Perhaps a monk’s robes would suit your fashion sense better? On Saturday and Sunday young people can learn about the past through artefacts and costumes. Quiz available for budding detectives.

The Lighthouse: Designer-led workshops for all ages, including kids!

The Tallship – SV Glenlee: Nautical-themed children’s activities available on board a real tall ship! (Ages 3-11)

The Bridgeton Bus Garage: Explore over 100 different buses from Glasgow Vintage Vehicle’s collection!

You can have a look at the children's listings here www.glasgowdoorsopendaysfestival.co.uk.
