Join us on Monday 15th January 2018 for our Employability Fund Childcare course in Glasgow City Centre.
If you are thinking of a career working with children and young adults this is where to start. This 8 week course is divided into blocks to prepare you for your next steps;
Weeks 1-2: Employability skills, building a CV, interview techniques and preparation for work placement.
Weeks 3-4: Focus on child care & work towards achieving SCQF Level 4 qualifications.
Weeks 4-8: Work placement within a local nursery, after school care or other childcare environment.
On completion of the course we will support you to progress into a Modern Apprenticeship, Further Education or Employment. You will leave with;
> Excellent references from your tutor and work placement
> Having added to your qualifications
> Gained real work experience
> Confidence to achieve your goals
> A member of the PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) scheme
Whether you are leaving school, changing career or returning to work this course will help you get your career in care started.
