About The Blitz Remembered

The Blitz Remembered: Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Clydebank Blitz is a new exhibition telling the story of the Clydebank Blitz, from the point of view of those who lived through it.

The exhibition uses oral history testimonies, reminiscences and reflection to tell the story of the events that played out over the nights of the 13th and 14th of March, 1941. Illustrated with images from West Dunbartonshire's Local History collections, alongside new art works produced in response to the Blitz story, the exhibition presents a poignant and absorbing narrative, of interest to all ages.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for The Blitz Remembered are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
