About Moments in History: William Hunter’s British Medals

Moments in History focuses on William Hunter’s British medals - an outstanding collection of over 900 16th to 18th century Historical medals, considered to be one of the best in the World.

This is the first substantive display of these medals which capture moments in history commemorating the Reformation, Mary Queen of Scots, the Union of the Crowns, the Civil War, the campaigns of William II/III, the victories of Queen Anne’s reign, the Act of Union, Bonnie Prince Charlie, Culloden and the Enlightenment.
