About Maggie’s Glasgow Culture Crawl
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Cancer support charity Maggie’s is inviting Glaswegians to view their city in a whole new light while raising vital funds for the charity, which provides free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer.
Returning for a fourth year and sponsored by Brodies LLP, Maggie’s Culture Crawl Glasgow will take place on Friday 20th September 2019.
The sponsored walk will kick off from the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust in the city’s east-end.
‘Culture Crawlers’ will then make their way six-miles through the city with exclusive night-time access to some of Glasgow’s new and old cultural icons including the Hunterian Museum, the National Piping Centre and the Glasgow Science Centre.
The route will include entertainment from jazz duo, Let the Bird Out, and there will be pop-up light, art and photography exhibitions from artist, Alison Chandler, and photographer, Zoe Law, along the way.
Participants will finish the walk with a glass of prosecco and pizza at the city’s oldest museum in Scotland, the Hunterian Museum.
