About October Week at Loch Lomond Shores
If you’ve got school-age children, the holidays can be a bit of a nightmare. What do you do to keep them occupied? How do you plan it all?
Loch Lomond Shores has pulled out all the stops this year to provide the widest range yet of kids’ and family-friendly activities from 9th-20th October.
And as any parent knows, happy kids means everyone’s happy.
Activities on offer range from getting outside with TreeZone aerial adventures, bike and segway hire and free activities such as outdoor play, woodland exploration and loch-side walks to special events and activities only available for a certain time period, including canoe taster sessions and a new event at Loch Lomond SEA LIFE based on the CBBC show, The Deep.
Other activities include Loch Lomond Birds of Prey Centre, Thomson’s fun fair, face painting, the extremely popular Regal Storytellers and drop in craft and messy play sessions as part of a Family Fun Event by The Creation Station.
The Creation Station will be running a variety of different arts, crafts and messy imaginative play sessions everyday, with an autumnal theme. Kids can choose from making Playdoh hedgehogs and playing with paint, chalk and natural materials, to making tree art and creating bugs to take home. Smaller children are catered for as well, with activities suitable from 1-11years – and there will even be a play area for babies, as well as tea, coffee and cake for Mums, Dads and Grandparents.
Loch Lomond Shores October school activities take place from Monday 9th – Friday 20th October.
