About Land and Sky

A solo exhibition of new paintings by Glasgow artist Rosi Nyamakanga entitled Land and Sky.

Rosi's current work is inspired by the light, colour and shape of Scottish landscape affected at times by the bold lines and shapes of man-made structure. The paintings are an expression of personal experience; memories and impressions of places she has spent time in.

Rosi trained in printed textiles in Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee and went on to gain her Masters at Manchester Metropolitan University
Since graduating she has taught in colleges of art and school in the uk, Spain, started up art and design departments in colleges in Zimbabwe,Africa, and now back in Scotland, she continues to exhibit her painting and run workshops in painting and printmaking.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Land and Sky are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
