Ranging from the bittersweet to the rude and raunchy, Scotland’s former national poet and recipient of the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry weaves a spellbinding and beguiling show, mixing poems and monologues, all accompanied by the witty, soulful saxophone playing of Steve Kettley. Whether you’re familiar with her work or are a complete newcomer, this evening promises to be a memorable experience!
For a more relaxed atmosphere, this event takes place just down the hill from the Cathedral, in the event space upstairs at Drygate Brewery. Why not make an evening of it, and enjoy a meal in Drygate’s restaurant before the show? Drinks can be brought into the performance.
This event is not suitable for those under the age of 18.
