Glasgow Cathedral Festival: Raucous Rossini

About Glasgow Cathedral Festival: Raucous Rossini

Fresh from their summer tour of the UK and Italy, Raucous Rossini revives their production of ‘L’occasione fa il ladro’ for an autumn run. Raucous Rossini is an acclaimed young opera company that provides an opportunity for emerging singers and musicians to engage in Italian opera. Based in Glasgow, and largely consisting of musicians trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Raucous Rossini has toured the UK and Italy four times in as many years.

Raucous Rossini exists to help take opera and classical music to a wide variety of venues and audiences. Many of our audience mem- bers are first-time opera goers and children of all ages are always welcome to the performances.
