Gaels Le Chèile @ Ceòl’s Craic

About Gaels Le Chèile @ Ceòl’s Craic

Celebrating the contemporary kinship between Scottish Gaelic and Irish Gaeilge traditions, this youthful triple bill welcomes Dublin visitors Imlé, who seek to bring their Irish language into the modern vernacular, with a groundbreaking mix of songs, poetry, rap, trip-hop and trad.

BBC Young Folk Award winner Mischa Macpherson, performing here with both Scottish and Irish collaborators, is one of Gaelic music’s brightest rising stars, thanks to her bewitchingly expressive singing and intense empathy for her material, while Glasgow-based sextet Trip, comprising Royal Conservatoire of Scotland students from throughout the British Isles, combine flute, fiddle, accordion, piano and bodhran, plus Lewis-born Mairi MacLennan’s captivating vocals.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Gaels Le Chèile @ Ceòl’s Craic are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
