About Big Country 35th Anniversary and support

July 2018 marks 35 years since Big Country’s debut album, The Crossing, won huge international acclaim, with Rolling Stone declaring that its ringing twin-guitar melodies, Celtic-hued anthems and impassioned lyrics “blow the knobs off all the synth-pop diddlers and fake-funk frauds cluttering up the charts.”

Today’s incarnation of this iconic Scottish band – including original members Bruce Watson and Mark Brzezicki – celebrate with a set of classic hits and live favourites.
