About Adam Sutherland, Mairearad Green, Anna Massie & Hamish Napier with Andreas Tophøj & Rune Barslund
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Between them, as both musicians and composers, Mairearad Green, Anna Massie, Adam Sutherland and Hamish Napier have/had their fingers in myriad musical pies, but join forces here as two brilliantly creative duos. Besides collaborating on each other’s sets, they’ll also salute the first time all four played together, reprising extracts from Green’s wonderful 2009 New Voices composition, Passing Places.
Contemporary Danish folk music is renowned for its distinctively inventive interplay with other traditions and genres, and the young fiddle/viola/accordion duo of Andreas Tophøj and Rune Barslund are among those leading the charge, splicing Nordic, Celtic and Americana influences into sparkling original compositions.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Adam Sutherland, Mairearad Green, Anna Massie & Hamish Napier with Andreas Tophøj & Rune Barslund are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
