Alkinoos Ioannidis and support

About Alkinoos Ioannidis and support

Cypriot-born Greek singer-songwriter Alkinoos Ioannidis is a lyrically far-sighted, hugely popular commentator on his people’s modern times. Classically and philosophically trained – Plato is a key inspiration – he’s also a leading orchestral composer, plays in an avant-noise band, and teaches creative writing. His latest album, 2014’s Mikri Valitsa (Small Suitcase) is dedicated to “both those forced to leave their homeland and those who feel their homeland has deserted them”.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Alkinoos Ioannidis and support are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
