Colter Wall and Tyler Childers

Celtic Connections: Fragmented narratives of loneliness, desperation and betrayal from Colter Wall’s self-titled debut album.

Colter Wall and Tyler Childers

About Colter Wall and Tyler Childers

Canadian-born 21-year-old Colter Wall sings like the survivor of a long, hardscrabble life, soaked in blues and Appalachian traditions. His world-weary baritone and vividly gritty songcraft - fragmented narratives of loneliness, desperation and betrayal – won major plaudits for his self-titled, Dave Cobb-produced debut album in 2017. “Bar none, the best young singer/songwriter I've seen in 20 years” (Steve Earle)

A musical and autobiographical meditation on his native Kentucky, Tyler Childers’s darkly compelling debut LP, Purgatory, boasts none other than Sturgill Simpson’s first outside production credit, its sharply-written songs spanning high-lonesome starkness to muscular country-rock, suffused with Southern gothic shadows.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Colter Wall and Tyler Childers are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
