Workshop is being held on 5th & 6th of May or 18th & 19th August.
Distressing, Antiquing, Chalk Paint, Crackle Paint are some of the many techniques you can use at low cost to revamp your tired any piece of furniture or small object... During this two day class you will be taught how to use standard household paint and brushes to give a new identity to your tired furniture.
I will teach you the tricks of the trade on flat boards so you can achieve your desired goal without breaking the bank... No specialised expensive chalk paint or varnish here... Just specialised skills which you will develop on the day. You will also be able to work on one small piece of furniture or small item/box (small side table is perfect)
You will be welcomed in my studio by a fresh cup of coffee and home baking and We will take a break at lunchtime for a well deserved light lunch of home made soup and fresh bread. You will leave early enough to have a walk around the West end of Glasgow before heading home.
My studio is based a few minutes walks from the Kelvinbridge underground and you will find there plenty of parking albeith some of it is pay and display.
Please plan to wear old clothes we will work with paints and brushes which could stain your clothes.
