About Winter Words 2017: On Air by Isla Robertson

Winter Words is In Motion Theatre Company's festival of new work for the winter season, taking place at the bungo in Glasgow's Southside from Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd December 2017. Join us at our pop-up studio theatre for a line-up of children's theatre, new writing, live music and more.

On Air
Written, produced and directed by Isla Robertson

'On Air' is a staged radio show with all sound effects produced live on stage.

In one hour we will race through everything you might expect to hear on the radio from comedy drama The Coffin Race in which 1920s crofters must race a body to the graveyard through the unpredictable highland terrain to the Book At Bedtime, The Weird Woman, in which a young man explains a terrifying encounter and the short drama, Fair Play, where Derek faces the choice of a lifetime.

Interspersed through it all will be “news”, music, fun and of course no radio show would be complete without the shipping forecast!

Tickets: £5 online (via our website) or on the door - booking in advance recommended.
