About Cultural Psychotherapy with Alastair McIntosh
Cultural Psychotherapy: A Depth Approach to Activism in our Times
What does Donald Trump, depth psychology and land and community issues all have in common? Alastair McIntosh will be sharing his views on all 3, at our seminar on Saturday 09 December in Glasgow city centre.
Join us for a morning in the company of scholar and activist Alastair McIntosh as he describes his use of depth psychology in activism for social and environmental change, drawing out especially his use of Freud’s and Jung’s thoughts woven through with the emerging discipline of transpersonal psychology.
He will draw examples both from his early campaigning work on land and community issues, right through to his view of Donald Trump, whose mother was born on the Isle of Lewis where he was raised.
Venue - Human Development Scotland, 4th Floor - South Suite, Victoria Chambers, 142 West Nile Street, Glasgow, G1 2RQ
