The Business Journey - Elevating Customer Trust
The Business Journey returns with their next event on March 20th where they'll be discussing the challenges & opportunities of GDPR.
About The Business Journey - Elevating Customer Trust
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
A lack of trust in companies which hold our data has led to a need for new regulations to ensure that there is greater clarity and transparency in how data is stored and used. The three speakers will outline some of the challenges and opportunities that will exist for businesses.
"Trust: the cornerstone of successful business relationships"
Susan will discuss how we build trust, how quickly trust can be broken and the competitive advantage to generating trust with customers, stakeholders, staff etc.
"Busting the myths around GDPR in marketing"
Geoff will look at what businesses can and can't do with email addresses, personal info etc, how it relates to using targeting and personalisation in marketing and, as marketing aims to get great results at a high ROI, how GDPR compliance actually helps with that.
"GDPR – Are you ready?"
Laura will provide a summary of some key updates that the GDPR will implement which will be significant for UK businesses including.
• Why complying with the GDPR is not a choice – it is mandatory.
• Data protection considerations should now be taken into account from the outset of designing a new process, product or service, rather than dealing with it as an afterthought.
