Nightrider Glasgow

About Nightrider Glasgow

Get your friends, family and colleagues together and cycle Nightrider together to raise funds for charity.

Nightrider is a fully supported night-time charity bike ride. It has been successfully operating for 8 years in London. The event is not timed and it’s not a race - it’s about having a great night, seeing the sights and raising funds.

There are two routes available, choose from a 100km or a 50km ride. Both are circular and start and finish at the same central place by the Clyde. The route consists of two loops, each around 50km.
We have designed the route to include all the major sights, as well as some of the lesser known ones. Start and finishing beside the River Clyde with views across the city, highlights will include all 4 football grounds, Glasgow and Strathclyde universities, 3 Billy Connelly murals, Clydeside, Barrowlands, Glasgow cathedral, Partick crane, Byres Road, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow Green, Pollock Park and Catkin Braes to name just a few!

This is a ride to take in the sights. We put as many highlights of the area as we can, and you can expect to see some hidden treasures along the way as well. It really is a unique way to explore the city and surrounding areas.

Full support, back up and regular break stops are provided throughout the night and a well-earned breakfast and medal at the finish.

Sign up from £39 and commit to raise a minimum for a chosen charity (approx. £175 but can vary).

2018 Charity Platinum Partners are Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Combat Stress , Macmillan Cancer Support and NSPCC. Choose to support one of these or any of the Charity Partners listed on the Nightrider website.

Alternatively sign up on an Own Place for £99 and support any charity of your choice and have no minimum to fundraise.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Nightrider Glasgow are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
