About Glasgow Film Festival: Future Cult

Japan seems to have developed a bit of a thing for clay in recent years, judging by Sôichi Umezawa’s gory Vampire Clay and Takahide Hori’s magnificent Junk Head, both premiering this year.

Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening based on the massive anime series, will get an extra special secret location screening, and Larry Cohen’s filming misdemeanours are documented in the hilarious King Cohen.

Any self respecting cinephile ought not to miss an exclusive screening of Anyab, a newly restored version of the Egyptian Rocky Horror Picture Show remake from 1981 – fancy dress keenly encouraged!

These films are assured to grace midnight screenings, double bills and genre festivals the world over – the future of cult film is here.
