African Artefacts: The Final Selection

About African Artefacts: The Final Selection

This is the third and final exhibition of sub-Saharan African artefacts and artworks at the Gallery. The objects on display range, in point of origin, from Mali in the north, to Mozambique on the continent’s south-eastern coast – in genre, from the grand portrait sculptures that once adorned the palaces of Cameroonian chiefdoms, to calabashes and weavings for domestic use – and in period, from the mid-nineteenth century to modernity.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for African Artefacts: The Final Selection are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
