About ReallySmallScience Holiday Club

Join us this Easter for the ReallySmallScience Holiday Club. Meet chemical engineers and learn what kind of work a chemical engineer does.

Our club, led by engineers and researchers from the Department of Chemical Engineering, will run on the following dates:

Wednesday 4 April 2018: Morning - lab activities (Sludge clean-up)

Wednesday 4 April 2018: Afternoon - project work (optional)

Thursday 5 April 2018: Morning - lab activities (Sludgy clay)

Thursday 5 April 2018: Afternoon - project work (optional)

Wednesday 11 April 2018: Morning - lab activities (Sludge for protection)

Wednesday 11 April 2018: Afternoon - project work (optional)

Thursday 12 April 2018: Morning - lab activities (Engineering sludgy sandcastles)

Thursday 12 April 2018: Afternoon - project work (optional)

More information on the activities provided each day can be found on the ReallySmallScience website (http://bionanostrath.wixsite.com/reallysmallscience/rss-holiday-club)

You can mix and match which sessions you'd like to book, for example, you can choose a morning session which will include hands-on activities in the lab or delve deeper into the topic by signing up to the afternoon session on the same day, for project work based on the experiments from the morning session. Each day we will cover a different sludgy engineering topic. You can also sign-up to multiple days (either morning only or for the full days).

All of our club leaders are experienced science communicators and have run activities in schools across Glasgow and during science festivals.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for ReallySmallScience Holiday Club are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
