Pivot

From the amazing Australian artists who brought you Megaphones at Sonica 2017, Madeleine Flynn & Tim Humphrey present Pivot, a playground of semi-intelligent talking seesaws!

Pivot

About Pivot

Equipped with built-in voice communicators with a mind of their own, this chattering apparatus will poke, probe, question and counsel you as you seesaw your way to equilibrium. Consider this an opportunity to join the conversation, as Pivot helps unleash your inner child whilst playfully pondering the role of peaceful, shared dialogue in our modern world. Giving the people of Glasgow a voice, Pivot will help balance things out.

A new work commissioned by Melbourne Fringe and City of Melbourne, September 2017.

Pivot is made possible with the core support of Festival 2018, with thanks also to the generous support of Australia Council for the Arts & the High Commission of Australia, London.

Pivot is presented as part of Festival 2018, the cultural programme that will run as part of the Glasgow 2018 European Championships taking place in August.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Pivot are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
