Hidden Footprints

Join us for a promenade performance through Merchant City inspired by the historical and contemporary voices of women in our city!

Hidden Footprints

About Hidden Footprints

Combining historical fact with personal reflections, we follow in the footsteps of the women who went before us.

Sharing little-known tales from the past alongside contemporary musings on the spaces and people of Merchant City, this is an imaginative, charming and thought-provoking exploration of what these streets mean to us and what they represented to the women before us.

This is a moving performance across 5 sites in Merchant City. The route will be fully accessible, and there will be some chairs available at each site for audience members who need them.

This performance is created by the Women’s Creative Company, working alongside A Moment’s Peace Theatre Company and Directors Victoria Beesley and Jen Edgar.
