Repair Café Glasgow is on a mission to save your items from landfill. We host monthly events in spaces across the city where people can get help to fix their broken things. All our events are open to everyone and operate on a donation basis.
This month, we are at Kinning Park Complex for our regular repair session. We will be fixing all handheld personal items, everything from broken blenders to jaded jeans! You are invited to come along and fix alongside our team of expert volunteers.
As well as our regular repairs, we will also be hosting a basic DIY workshop with repairer & artist, Giulia Lazzaro. Over the space of three hours, you will learn how to use a power drill and test out some of the practical applications of the tool. You will also be coached on how to use a handsaw & will all get a chance to build and hang a shelf over the afternoon.
You can sign up for the workshop here: https://bit.ly/2LIWXMf
