The free exhibition, which runs from 30th June to 12th August, takes families back in time to the prehistoric world, giving them the chance to learn fun facts and take part in a whole host of dinosaur-themed activities.

Five life-sized dinosaurs will be on display across Glasgow Fort, including a T-Rex which will roam the shopping centre on Tuesdays, as well as a Spinosaurus that will roar and react to shoppers as they pass by.

Families are also being invited to go on a Jurassic-themed treasure hunt in search of clues across the centre for the chance to win a £30 Glasgow Fort giftcard, Smyths dino-themed toys and a Lush knot wrap filled with goodies. Shoppers can pick up the treasure hunt map from customer services, located between The Body Shop and Zara, or visit Glasgow Fort’s website where they can download and complete online.

Other free events for children running throughout the summer at Glasgow Fort include ‘Dino School’ on Sundays and Mondays from 12 to 4pm, where local children can enjoy dinosaur-themed games and crafts, hosted by expert explorer, Professor Jock McGulligudy of the Scottish Institute of Dinosaurology.

For young families, there will be a ‘Dino Dig’ sandpit in front of Argos where little ones can dig up dinosaur bones and fossils.

The free exhibition is suitable for all children and will take place daily from 9am to 10pm with activities happening from 12 to 4pm each day:

• Monday – Dino School
• Tuesday – Roaming T-Rex
• Wednesday – Baby Dinos
• Thursday – Dino crafts
• Friday – Face painting
• Saturday – Dino crafts
• Sunday – Dino School

All events are free of charge and families should turn up on the day and head to the Dino School near Vue.
