Have you been diagnosed with MS in the last 5 years?
Would you like to meet other people who have recently been diagnosed with MS?
Would you like to share your experiences with others?

We’re running our Living Well with MS sessions in different parts of Scotland and we’d like you to join us! Living Well with MS is held over two half days and will give you the chance to get to know other people who have also recently had a diagnosis. Following the sessions you’ll have the opportunity to stay in touch with others online.

What do these sessions include?

They aim to help you:
&bull: share your own experience of MS with others
&bull: feel more confident to set up and successfully achieve daily goals
&bull: understand what 'self-management' is
&bull: learn new skills to help support you to live well with MS
&bull: have a better understanding of which local organisations can offer you support

These will be taking place in Calton Heritage & Learning Centre on Saturday 8th September and Saturday 22nd September at 10.30-13.30 - this will include a short coffee break half way through.

What do you mean when you say "Newly/ recently diagnosed"?

These introductory sessions aim to support people who have been diagnosed with MS within the last 5 years. The sessions will introduce people to the basic concepts of self-management and skills which will help support people to live well with MS.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Living Well with MS - Newly Diagnosed Support are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
