Banksy Restoration in Argyle Street Arches
On Saturdays & Sundays between August and November members of the public will be able to watch the restoration of Scotland's only recorded Banksy artworks at Argyle Street Arches!
About Banksy Restoration in Argyle Street Arches
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
In 2001, Banksy created three murals inside The Arches, and one on the outside of the venue. After the murals were painted over and The Arches shut down, it looked like Scotland's only recorded Banksy artworks would be lost.
Now The Arches has reopened as Argyle Street Arches, plans have been put in place to fundraise the restoration and save these important artworks.
From August to November, the Banksy murals will be restored on site so the public can watch the progress. Join us on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the 4 months in Argyle Street Arches, to give Banksy's work back to Scotland.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Banksy Restoration in Argyle Street Arches are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
