Following on from last year's successful screening of 'Dr. Who and the Daleks' at the 2017 Southside Fringe Festival, the Glasgow Doctor Who Society are back to bring you a special screening of the sequel, the second 60's technicolour cult favourite starring Peter Cushing as 'Dr. Who' and also starring much beloved modern era star Bernard Cribbins.
"Policeman Tom Campbell stumbles into Tardis on a normal day and ends up being taken to 2150 A.D. by Dr. Who. The future seems to be deserted, but the group soon finds out that the world is controlled by the evil Daleks. The human survivors hide, lest they be turned into Robomen. The Doctor teams up with the survivors to take down the Daleks. "
On Prismatic Winds - "Prismatic Winds are a young and exciting wind quintet based in Glasgow. The members are all graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where they were highly commended in the 2014 and 2016 RCS Governor’s Chamber Music Prizes. Working throughout Scotland, they have played at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Holyrood Palace, and four times in the Southside Fringe Festival. "
