Heritage Show & Tell

About Heritage Show & Tell

Come along to Hillhead Library to visit our FREE showcase of WW1 collections, archives, projects and organisations. Great for Schools!

Contributors include:
• The Glasgow School of Art who will showcase objects from the archive relating to school during the war.

• Lost Glasgow, who will discuss the changes of the area through photographs.

• Arlington Baths will highlight the effect which WW1 had on the swimming pool and its members.

• TV Historian, Fergus Sutherland will discuss the Home Front.

• Tenement House who will present some of their collections relating to Miss Agnes Toward.

• Vintage make-up demonstrations by Casci Ritchie!

• Record your memories of the area and the women who lived/live in the area.

Definitely not to be missed and ALL are welcome!

The workshop is generously funded by The Heritage Lottery and run in collaboration with Four Acres Charitable Trust & Friends of Glasgow West.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Heritage Show & Tell are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
