Each year, children in Germany create lanterns to celebrate Saint Martin's day which is celebrated on the 11th of November. If you like, we will even teach you some German St. Martin's songs. £5,-/child + one lantern.
St. Martin was known as friend of the children and patron of the poor. Martin of Tours was a Roman soldier who was baptised as an adult and became a monk. The most famous legend concerning him was that he had once cut his cloak in half to share with a beggar during a snowstorm, to save the latter from the cold.
Places are limited, make sure to book your ticket early.
