About Introduction to Pattern Cutting
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
We do not use shop bought patterns, instead we will teach you the fundamentals of classic pattern cutting. You will leave with your own bodice block pattern for you to use at home.
Over the 5 hours you will:
- Become familiar with basic block patterns
- Learn the difference between stretch and non-stretch blocks
- Learn basic rules of pattern cutting (with take home notes)
- Learn what tools and equipment are needed for pattern drafting
- Complete multiple exercises in dart manipulation
- Manipulate your own bodice block for you to take home
Perfect for beginners
All equipment is provided in this class.
Our Full Day class includes a 30 minute lunch break.
