Remembrance Sunday at Pollok House
Join us on Sunday 11th November as we pay our respects for Remembrance Sunday and celebrate the role played by Pollok House during WWI.
About Remembrance Sunday at Pollok House
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
10.30am – All visitors are very welcome to join our volunteers and staff at the memorial plaque on the south wall of the Walled Garden for a simple service of Remembrance for those from the Pollok Estate who gave their lives during the war.
12 noon – Focus talk on Pollok House during the War and our auxiliary hospital work.
1pm, 2pm & 3pm – Join our volunteers for a short tour around the house, learning about the history of the house during the Great War.
A selection of WWI objects will be on display in the Dining Room throughout the day.
All talks and tours are included in your ticket price, and free for National Trust for Scotland members.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Remembrance Sunday at Pollok House are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
