Music Broth proudly presents Unsilent Night for the second year! An evening of great music, great company and great causes!
About Unsilent Night
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Join us on the 15th of December in stereo to help us make the loudest library in GLasgow. we’ll be providing some good tunes, great patter and there might even be a cheeky raffle. At the event you will find a whole host of amazing acts such as Mickey 9s, DopeSickFLy, Bratakus, Kodak Ghosts, Johnny Cypher and Mark McGhee.
Our “Unsilent Night” fundraiser aims to raise vital funds for our Music Broth Hardship Fund. We support individuals, bands, families and organisations across Scotland. Our hardship fund supports free or subsidised Music Broth library membership to those who otherwise have no means to access musical instruments. This includes people of all ages and backgrounds; young people just starting out, those struggling financially, or with physical or mental ill health, homelessness, older long term residents, as well as those more newly arrived; refugees and those seeking asylum. Our Hardship Fund also supports subsidised organisational memberships and referrals from organisations such as Refuwegee, Barnardos, YCSA, Girls Rock Glasgow, Scottish Recovery Network, to name but a few. Overall it means we can reach more people struggling to otherwise be able to afford the benefits of playing and making music, to be able to take instruments and equipment home and further their own musical journeys.
Music Broth is our social enterprise with charitable status which has established Scotland’s first and only musical instrument and equipment library. Our aim is to improve access to musical instruments and equipment for everyone by reducing social and financial barriers. Through supporting our community we are helping individuals, bands and families to pursue their musical ventures.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Unsilent Night are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
