A stalwart comedian and an almost legend of the circuit, Nick Revell has been on the comedy scene for almost forty years, but this has not blunted his edge or his energy.

Now a Radio 4 series, BrokenDreamCatcher is a collection of surreal and satirical stories compiled from his last three years of critically acclaimed Edinburgh hours, featuring tales such as Clash of the Hipster Shamans, Treasure of the Illuminati Leprechauns and Vladimir Putin’s Bottom is Missing, which he takes on the road spring 2019.

“Sublimely surreal... wonderfully odd.” Sunday Times

“Uplifting stuff.” Observer

“A master storyteller with a powerful and original mind.” Beyond The Joke

“A glorious piece of esoteric, literary fiction?anarchic erudite comedy.” List

“Wonderfully surreal.” Morning Star

“Nick Revell has done for magic realism what Austin Powers did for James Bond..” Times

“a sort of Jackanory for grown-ups and great fun... a fantastic device to do some satire, some politics, some observational humour and a load of silliness... I wish they would put it on telly.” Scotsman
