From a vaudeville family entertainer, to rising movie starlet then legendary Hollywood superstar and gay icon Garland still inspires nearly 50 years after her untimely and tragic death.
Her iconic roles in "The Wizard of Oz" and later in "A Star is Born" etched Garlands 45 year career in Hollywood along side the biggest stars of the golden age of the movie musical era. In her short lifetime she appeared in over 35 films, began recording songs from age 13 and became an international star and LGBT icon. Even after her death she is still remembered as one of the best vocalists of the 20th Century.
Tom Harlow "the world's gayest entertainer" will be paying homage to this legendary woman and will look at Judy's most famous, highly celebrated and penultimate 1961 concert "Live at Carnegie Hall." This was one of her last performances before she died and is noted as "the greatest night in showbiz history. " Tom will be singing all of her greatest hits such as "Over the Rainbow," "The Trolley Song," "Get Happy," "That's Entertainment," and so many more in this 90 minute musical extravaganza accompanied by a live pianist.
