About Opera at the Spire

McOpera Orchestra accompanies soprano Catriona Clark, mezzo Christine Sjölander, tenor Roger Paterson, and baritone Francis Church, conducted by Derek Clark, Scottish Opera's Head of Music.
Enjoy favourite operatic arias, duets, trios and quartets with introductions to each which explain the characters and their situations. Swoon with Mozart's La ci darem, strut with Bizet's Escamillo, sob with Donizetti's Una furtiva lagrima, sing along with Puccini's Humming Chorus, swagger with Verdi's La donna è mobile, saunter with Lehar's Merry Widow and don't sleep with Puccini's Nessun Dorma!
Polish up your tiara or your bow tie and come along!
Ticket price includes a nibbles and bubles interval.
The venue is very close to Glasgow's Charing Cross Station, there is onroad parking and a multi-storey car park on Elmbank Street.
