Unconditional Being

About Unconditional Being

Artists Pinar Aksu, Mousa AlNana, Razan Madhoon, Paria Goodarzi, Iman Tajik and Aref Ghorbani will print a publication that discusses language, identity, borders and censorship as part of the refugee and asylum experience in Scotland.

OOMK (One Of My Kind) is a collaborative publishing practise led by Sofia Niazi, Rose Nordin and Heiba Lamara who make, publish and distribute books and printed works which arise from self-initiated projects. For this five-day discursive workshop project, OOMK will be working in collaboration with the artists to produce a publication.

Members of the public are welcome to view the work as it is being created on site. The project will run from Wednesday 19 – Sunday 23 June.

The venue has lift access to all levels. Toilets are gender neutral.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Unconditional Being are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
