About R. F. Kuang launches The Dragon Republic

R. F. Kuang joins us to launch one of the most hotly anticipated sequels of 2019, The Dragon Republic, follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut The Poppy War, which garnered her nominations for the Campbell, Locus, and Nebula Awards!

Following Rin after the epic climax and terrible decisions of The Poppy War, The Dragon Republic sees her joining up with the Dragon Warlord in her quest for vengeance and out of love for Nikan... but is the Dragon Warlord all he seems, and how far will Rin go for the country and people she loves?

R. F. Kuang will join us in conversation with Jeannette Ng, author of Under the Pendulum Sun, for a discussion of the way she uses East Asian history in her fantasy, her taste for the darker ends of the genre... and of course, drugs! Don't miss what promises to be an incredible evening.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for R. F. Kuang launches The Dragon Republic are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
