Pedal, Prune and Picnic

About Pedal, Prune and Picnic

Neglected pathways can be a pain for everyone, cyclists and pedestrians alike. Let's get our beloved park up to scratch together, with a picnic to celebrate our efforts at the end!

Join us for a cycle to Kelvingrove Park where we'll prune overgrown walkways, pick up the odd bit of litter, and generally give the place some love.

We've bikes, helmets and locks available to borrow if you've not got one. We’ll be leading the ride from Bike For Good Glasgow West Hub on Haugh Road, leaving at 10am, and will be back for around 2pm. Please come for 9:30am if you want to borrow a bike!

Scotland’s Social Enterprise Week takes place from 2nd-8th Sept and we’re inviting you to get involved. There are over 25 different fun, free activities and learning experiences to showcase, raise awareness and engagement of social enterprise in Glasgow.

You’ll find the range of activity covers arts, children and families, health and wellbeing, food, education, training and more; with something for everyone.

Our aim is to show you how social enterprises are changing your community for the better.
