SANDS Glasgow Teardrops and Tiaras Charity Ball

About SANDS Glasgow Teardrops and Tiaras Charity Ball

Sands Glasgow is part of the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (Sands) and we aim to provide support for bereaved families in and around Glasgow. Sadly, 15 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth every day in the UK, and it is our mission to provide local bereavement support to families via monthly meetings as well as supporting healthcare professionals with materials and training to improve bereavement care and raising funds for vital research into reducing the numbers of babies dying. Sands relies almost entirely on voluntary income and receives very little government funding.

We have a limited number of tickets available for our annual fundraising ball, which will be held at 200 St. Vincent Street. The evening starts at 6.30pm with a drinks reception followed by a 3 course dinner and then an evening of entertainment, raffles, auction and dancing until 1am. The evening will be hosted by former Real Radio DJ Steve McKenna. Tickets are £45 and very limited, so please contact us as soon as possible if you would like tickets or to support the event in any other way (prizes and donations are always appreciated!)

You can find us on Instagram at @sands_glasgow, or contact us at glasgow@sands.org.uk
