All the events will take place in the early evening, with a live performance followed by a discussion. We aim to be as open and inclusive as possible therefore we have no set ticket charge. You can pay as much or as little as you want or can afford. There will be a small BYOB charge however as we do not sell alcohol in the venue. We welcome children to all our events unless otherwise stated.

Ætheric Anomalies are the various solo audio/visual and live exploits of Stuart Silver (ex- Psychogeographical Commission, Vidiv). Having taken an inspiration from the occult psychedelic films of Kenneth Anger and the live visuals of Hawkwind and Psychic TV, Stuart has produced eye-popping videos and gig visuals for many bands including Leeds-based Moon Musick makers 'Hawthonn', the Industrial techno pop duo ‘Security’, and a host of other artists appearing around Glasgow as well as commissioned gallery pieces for artists including FK Alexander. This visual work led into a series of well received performances soundtracking enhanced distillations of cult films at various venues in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne, which he will be screening at the M Gallery as a part of the Chilled Listening.

Stuart is currently working on a project using deep mythology to manifest the figure of “Herne the Hunter” as a means of exploring the connection between magick and the landscape, to reconnect audiences to the wonder of both. He also regularly performs with the ritual noise collective Vidiv and has recently written for, and co-edited, the Urban Wyrd books ‘Spirits of Time’ and ‘Spirits of Place’ for the Folk Horror Revival Group through Wyrd Harvest Press.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for M Gallery Chilled Listening Presents - Aetheric Anomalies are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
