Following on from the success of the hugely popular BRICK BUILT LEGO® exhibition this summer, the leading Glaswegian shopping centre will be welcoming the BRICK CITY tour, an exhibition of miniature versions of some of the world’s most iconic architectural landmarks, and in true Glaswegian style have added a traffic cone as a nod to Glasgow’s very own Duke of Wellington statue, famed for his traffic-stopping head-dress.
Tiny versions of the casinos of Las Vegas, Rome’s Trevi Fountain and the Petronas Tower in Kuala Lumpur, are just some of the iconic constructions from around the globe which have been created out of LEGO® blocks by Warren Elsmore and his team.
Excitement has been building amongst Glasgow shoppers and LEGO® fans who will be able to visit the second display of some of the world’s most recognisable buildings and monuments from Saturday, 21st September - Sunday, 20th October.
Bricks 4 Kidz workshops will continue to run on Saturdays between 12 and 4pm throughout the four weeks of the exhibition, perfect for those looking to build on their engineering skills or get creative on the weekend!
The exhibition is located on the first floor, opposite H&M, and is open daily during Centre opening times. It is free to attend but shoppers are encouraged to donate to one of St. Enoch Centre’s charity partners, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and Simon Community Scotland during their visit.
