Welcome to our face-to-face Upholstery Course!
Join us for our first Upholstery for Beginners Evening Course and build your own footstool from scratch! Through this 5-week course, you’ll learn a variety of upholstery and sewing techniques including how to sew and fit a cover while making the stool structure itself!
You’ll have access to our upcycled textile treasure trove and all materials and equipment are included in the price. The class is open to all abilities and is small enough to ensure you get lots of support from your tutor Nicola.
About your tutor: Nicola Williams
Nicola has been running upholstery workshops for Rags to Riches for years and has lots of teaching experience working with people and communities all over Glasgow. As well as working with us, Nicola is also a self-employed upholsterer, running the fantastic Glasgow Furniture Collective in The Barras, and has future hopes of branching into the world of art therapy with her amazing work.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
