Conducted by a professional art teacher, the class will focus on specific contents of the Fine Arts disciplines, such as lines, shapes, textures, space and colours. The children will use different materials and techniques that will help them to create various images. They will have the opportunity to learn about relevant artists and movements in the history of Art.

Aimed at children from 8 to 10 years old who are interested in learning, creating and expressing themselves through art. Duration: 10 sessions beginning on the 16th of January, one hour per week, on Thursdays.

The main goals of this art workshop are that children understand, learn and use the different techniques within the fine arts world, enjoy the creation and expression of their own works, explore different materials and observe images in order to enrich their appreciation of the world that surrounds them.

All materials included in price. You can book individual sessions at £12,-/child, please contact us directly for details.

The block will end with a display of self chosen art work in the cafe's exhibition space so they can be presented to their families and the public on the 27.3.2020.

Additional Dates: 23 January 2020, 30 January 2020, 06 February 2020, 13 February 2020, 20 February 2020, 27 February 2020, 05 March 2020, 12 March 2020, 19 March 2020
