The Sound Lab’s East End Fiesta will be an a fun, creative project for young people aged 8-18 to express themselves through music, dance, arts and crafts, all done with a latino theme!
The aim of our 15 week long Fiesta is to develop their skills with the guidance of specialist tutors, and to produce a finished recording onto disc with their own music video.
Plenty of delights are in store such as traditional, home-cooked Brazilian food and special guests to showcase sizzling samba expertise; bringing a bit of Latin America to Glasgow’s East End!
This completely free of charge programme will be held at Tollcross Recordings Music Academy in two sets of classes, allowing participants to work alongside young people of a similar age.
The first set will be for kids of 8 -12 years, 4pm-6pm and the later for 13-18 year olds, 6pm-8pm.
Not only will East End Fiesta be a lot of fun, it will also help participants develop their confidence, music/dance skills and their social networks. Come give it a try!
