The workshop provides bench hire to experienced jewellery makers and offers a range of jewellery making classes suitable for absolute beginners or those who have previously done some jewellery making. Classes include one off taster workshops where you can make a silver ring, bangle or pendant in an afternoon, as well as 6 or 10 week jewellery making courses. Makers Workshop also offer private ‘making’ days for small groups of friends, and special ‘Make Your Own Wedding Ring’ days for couples.
As independent jewellery designers, Eilidh and Ishbel are committed to promoting and encouraging new arts and crafts designers; their in-house boutique stocks an exciting range of contemporary jewellery, ceramics, artwork, illustration, furniture, homeware and cards, most of which is made by local designers and artists.
